Our mission is to teach people how to make fantastic art from learning the essential artistic skills of drawing and painting from observation regardless of their previous experience or abilities. Everyone can learn them from any age, regardless of their experience, as creating great pictures requires learning and developing techniques. Once the techniques are learnt on a basic level, we continue to progress them in each new project you'll embark on. We'll  harness your skill development, encourage and support you on your individual artistic journey to fulfil your unique potential.

We use the traditional methods of copying from masters and photographs still lives and plaster casts as our learning resources  You can pick from ours or bring in your own images, photographs or choose to work from any artwork you love! We'll help you choose source material to suit your level and teach a topic while placing focus on different drawing and painting techniques. You can explore: landscapes, portraits, still lives, animals, abstract while learning the fundamental formal elements of art and design, traditional and contemporary drawing and painting techniques.
